1947 Illinois State League All-star Game Award Brass Belt Buckle. The Illinois State League 1947-1948, M-O-V League 1949-1955, and the Midwest League 1956-Present are the same league, but the league changed names to acknowledge geographic changes with the league's team expansion. This brass belt buckle was award to players who made the Illinois State League All-star team in 1947. The game was played at West Frankfort and the All-stars played the league leading Belleville Stags. This award is very rare and it has been in my collection for many years.
