This is an early 1800 oil painting on canvas by F.Dewitt,who was a visual artist.He was famous for"A Cottage In Landscape".Nothing has been altered in any way!Everything is original from when I purchased this in the early 1980's from a Tennessee gallery of fine arts and antiques.An oil on canvas,in the original frame.This measures 19 1/4" by 12 1/4".The oil measures 14" by 7".This does fave a slight tear,pictured, that can be professionally restored.Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use,see pictures.Absolutely guaranteed to be original.I am selling this as is.Please ask if you have any questions.Thank you!
