Antique Bamboo Writing Pencil Gadget Cane Walking Stick, c late 1800s, Rare! - $249 - (Summerfield, FL)

This is a nice antique writing pencil gadget cane. The bamboo cane has a root handle, sterling silver(??) initials A.H.R. and the sterling silver(??) pencil opening plate. The cane has a few age-related stress splits/cracks typical of bamboo. It measures approximately 34" in length and 1" in width at the widest area. The tip appears to be in good condition but does have some age pitting. This cane is in untouched, original condition. While I am not an expert in this field, it appears to be an excellent addition to any gadget cane collection.
