Wine Cork Birdhouse - $4 - (Modesto, CA)

These tiny birdhouse ornaments are made from my wine cork stash. I used a doll house size round plate as a place of entry for the home, and part of a twig for the perch. For the roof, I painted a brown acrylic paint on squared wood chips and assorted moss for that county feel. Each bird house has a fabric rose and can be made with assorted colors including: yellow, pink, red, blue, and white. A gold-plated ring is added to the top and strung with a white pearl and a strand of twine, so they can hang around just about anywhere. These cute country birdhouses are made to order and are great for bird house collectors, ornament collectors or just to give that room a shabby county feel.
