Antique Victorian Leather Taylor Hat Box & Henderson & Son Top Hat Shabby Chic - $150 - (Dauphin, PA)

This is a Victorian era antique Taylor marked leather hatbox with Chas. Henderson & Son Philadelphia Top Hat inside. Shabby Chic great for decor, parts or restoration. The leather is very degraded overall as seen in photos of item. Note the nice brass lock. Inside the hat box the inserts and liners aren't too bad condition, one of the inserts shows a separation that can be seen in photo. Hat is also showing wear to it and shows a partial torn separation of the brim and is also shabby decor or for restoration. Although the condition of the leather cover is very poor, the box itself is structurally sound. Box measures 14.5 inch tall and 14.25 inch longest oval length. Lots of character to this one.
