This movement sounds 4 notes on the 1/4 hour, 8 notes on the 1/2 hour, 12 notes on the 3/4 hour and the full 16 notes plus the hour count on the hour. There is also a special "night chime stop"...switch #5 "off". Control #2 is a volume control. Instruction sheet has the rest of the specific instructions on setting, etc. Takes one D cell battery. Quality works removed from a plastic case. Install in your own case. Excellent working condition. Battery operated (battery not included). Brass pendulum. No cosmetic problems.
