This is a seriously gorgeous book. It comes with the publisher's promotional two-page flyer. Clare Leighton is one of the world's most highly regarded masters of the art of wood engraving. The book is a celebration of English rural and village life almost a hundred years ago, with an interesting text and tons of absolutely matchless illustrations of unique wood engravings. Please look carefully at my photos and read the description. I've tried to be accurate with its condition and the photos will often show this as well. I sell vintage and antique books, some of them older than your great-grandparents and probably in better shape--but definitely not "mint!" These books are still around for you to enjoy because other people have read them and cared for them for decades. Some wear and tear is part of the charm of vintage/antique books!
