This is an all original vintage steamer trunk.It has attractive Victorian brass colored hardware.It has varnished wooden slats and Forest green cloth that covers the wood. Accented in Black.It is a great looking example of early steamer trunks.This trunk has the added advantage of being in very good condition for its age, and it is also complete with the original lock.The leather handles are in good condition.It has the original insert.We have dealt with many of these trunks over the years and it is very common for them to have broken locks, missing inserts and broken handles.The only addition to this trunk is that tape has been used on the insert for reinforcement. It is very minor and can be easily repaired.Finally, this trunk is a very unusual smaller size. It measures 30” x 18” x 20”.
