Rare and unique 2 arm bands from a cache of 10 - $700 - (Prairie Grove, AR)
Two very unusual and unique items that were found in 2009 in the Atacama desert and were part of a cache of ten. They have been analyzed by Dr. Don Spohn of Great Lakes Copper Research in Coopersville, Michigan and have a COA as well as an appraisal of $1500.00. The base metal is copper with a thin gold plating. It is not known if they were left by the Spanish and were used as arm guards, known as a Vambrace, or were copies made by the natives from what they saw the Spanish using and were used by them for decoration. They measure roughly 6 inches long, 4 inches across. 2 1/8 inches deep and 1/32 inches thick and weigh around 4 ounces each. I will stand behind them with a no questions asked return policy for at least 14 days from date of purchase or longer if you desire to have them authenticated by any well known authenticator. I will also include with them all the paperwork I have on them which is what is shown in the pictures. If you have any questions or want more pictures please feel free to contact me.
