PT Legare 400 Antique Sock Knitting Machine CSM 54/72 Cylinders 36 Ribber +++ - $1,199 - (Toledo, OH)

This listing is for a PT Legare 400. I have owned this for since 2008. I haven't used it in a long time, so I would like to pass it on to it's next owner. It is in very good shape, especially considering it's from the early 1900s. There are 2 cylinders. One is a 72 slot and the other is a 54 slot. The 36 slot ribber is included. I've never used the ribber, I couldn't get the hang of it. The machine moves very smooth. The yarn mast is straight and the spring is still intact/original. There are some rust spots, but the do not interfere with the operation. Everything in the pictures is included. There are lots of needles. The needles in the old red tin were installed when I bought it. The rest, including what is loaded in the 72 slot cylinder, are replacements. The Altoids tin contains the ribber needles. There is a bobbin winder (no belt) and spool, buckle, weights, bonnet, cast on tool, manual, fork weights that I made with BBs/fishing leaders/fabric, a bale counter to help with row counting, and hooks for manipulating stitches. I can accept returns if the buyer pays for shipping. I will insure it for the full price of the winning bid. I am estimating shipping and will refund if there is a difference.
