Sony DTC-A6 DAT Digital Audio Tape Deck Recorder, with rack ears and one tape - $250 - (Boise, ID)

This is a Sony DTC-A6 DAT with "Super Bit Mapping", which is a fancy work for noise-shaped dither. It's one of the best sounding DAT machines I've ever used and still works well as is demonstrated in the linked YouTube video. I am the second owner and got it 3-4 years ago and am not using it enough to warrant keeping it. Both the original owner and I kept it in a smoke-free studio and never took it on the road. Includes working remote with batteries, IEC power cable and one NOS 15-minute tape. About the video; it was done in a single pass with no edits. An HD24 feeds an analogue console, which feeds the DAT machine, which then loops through to the camera's line input. The pumping & breathing is from the AGC on the camera, which I cannot bypass but it's good enough to see that the A6 gives error-free operation. The S/PDIF and optical work as well.
