AMPEX 602-2 Stereo tube reel to reel recorder microphone preamp mic pre - $695 - (Asheville, NC)

Vintage Ampex 602-2 stereo tube suitcase reel to reel recorder. Looks great and in very good physical shape. Both microphone preamps are tested working. The transport motor turns and the fast forward and rewind work but recorder has not been tested with tape. Recorder may need some restoration to record and play back reel to reel tapes. VU meter lights work. Hard to find one of these Ampex recorders like this one that is unmodified and is complete. Comes with manual and AC cable.
