Alma , Colorado #057 Here is a Very Beautiful Huge Rhodochrosite Specimen from The Sweet Home Mine in Alma , Colorado. This mine has been closed for almost 11 years and produced the finest Rhodochrosite crystals in the world. The Rhodo Rhombs on this specimen have great color and great luster and are Very Clear sitting on a bed of Needle Quartz Crystals and Pyrite on this Fine Specimen. The picture's were taken outdoors and the color is Darker in indoor lighting. The largest Rhomb measures about 1/4 inch wide. Specimens from the Sweet Home Mine are getting more expensive every year so get one before their all gone. This fine specimen measures 4 5/8 inches long , 3 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches tall.
