It says Melamine on the bottom. There is also a red heart almost flat tray that I am pretty sure is melamine but does NOT say it on the bottom. The bowl is in great shape and doesn't appear to have ever been used however the tray has some scratches on it from use. The bottom of the bowl also says Valentine's 2010 with the Target logo. The bottom of the tray only reads dishwasher safe top rack only and not for microwave use. The bowl measures 6 3/4" across x 2 3/4" deep. The tray is 8 1/2" across.
