This is one heck of a briefcase. Thick italian leather. Look at the pics. There is one 2 inch area on the bottom of an inside slot where the leather is stiffer. You can see it in the last picture. The case is beautiful. There is a mark on the front flap. Small but you can see it. These cases "new" can go as high as $700. The 2 minor deficiencies don't distract from the quality of the case.
