This is an extraordinary doll.......and very hard to find! Originally released in 1985, this doll is very scarce, sought after by collectors, an early masterpiece by famous felt doll artist R. John Wright, and is a Limited Edition of only 150 dolls made exclusively for "Geppetto's Toys" doll house and was part of the Childhood Classics series. 18" Max is a charming molded felt doll. Fully jointed, he has hand-painted features and a brown mohair wig. He is dressed in a traditional German outfit consisting of a lederhosen over a white shirt and white socks. A green felt hat and leather shoes with metal nails in the soles complete his attire. As a final touch Max comes with his favorite handcrafted wooden Pinocchio.
