Alice Leverett ~ MARIE TERESE ~ 10.5" French Fashion Doll UFDC 2010 LE 1250 COA - $325 - (Shawnee, KS)
This is the fabulous Marie Therese from artist Alice Leverett and Vogue Dolls - limited edition of 1250. Jointed doll measures 10.5" and has a hand painted face. Her blonde wig is styled in a braided updo and covered with a snood. She is wearing a white shift with blue ribbon tie at the neck. Lovely blue shoes are in their original box. Doll appears to have permanent hoops in her ears for hanging a set of blue earrings attached to side of her box. There is a copy of a small book (5.5"x4.25") Many Favorite Things of Marie Terese which has several pages of accessories to cut out and assemble. COA. Smoke-free. Bonus items are a French fashion shopping bag with a fan inside as well as a hand crocheted (tatted?) pair of white socks. My neighbor attended many UFDC conventions and these may have been luncheon table favor items but I'm not sure - they were tucked inside the doll's box so I am including them. Will do my best to answer questions but am not a collector - simply helping my favorite senior find homes for his late wife's treasured collection.
