Eli Griffith & Sons Birmingham Marine Lantern (1940) - $150 - (Putnam Station, NY)

This Marine lantern is in working condition but is very rustic! It was manufactured by Eli Griffith & Sons in Birmingham, England in the 1940s. it is quite large measuring 13.5 inches tall and resting upon a 7.25 inch diameter base. It weighs in at 5 pounds and 8 ounces. The base plate has been reinforced and it has been rewired with new cloth electrical cord. It comes with a new Edison Bulb. There is the potential for this unique vintage Marine Lantern to be used either as a table light fixture or as a hanging lamp.
