It also pumps the chair up but does not pump all the way up. There are cracks and tears to the leather. The head rest has no leather on it. The porcelain arm rests have small chips on the outside edges. I do not know the manufacture date on this chair.The base has pitting and the leather on the Round seat has swollen with age.
