Valentine One 1 V1 Radar Detector V1.85 w/ ESP and TMF and POP2 - $398 - (Seward, NE)

The valentine one is the best radar detector on the market and has saved me from many tickets. Under ideal conditions I have actually had this pick up a radar source in excess of 1 mile away. The firmware version is 1.85 w/ ESP. This unit has the traffic monitoring filter which is a software algorithm designed to eliminate the false alarms caused by SpeedInfo, a traffic flow-measuring system being installed along some U. S. highways, which sends frequent K-band radar bursts into the traffic stream. There is an update available for this detector, but after a 1000 mile road trip I found that there is no value in performing any updates on this detector. The update adds the Junk-K fighter and improved Euro Mode (this is only useful if you are driving in Europe). The Junk-K fighter performed no better than the TMF which is the predecessor to the Junk-K and already installed on this detector. I found that about 5% of the time a vehicle with lane-change systems would cause K band false alerts both detectors, one with Junk-K and one with only TMF. The only difference between the two would be the Junk-K would stop alerting 10-15 seconds before the TMF one.
