Tandberg TD20A SE reel to reel, original 10 1/2" metal reels, 130+ tapes - $1,999 - (Ravenna, OH)

The downsizing continues. Offered here is my beloved reel to reel and a good chunk of my non-prerecorded reel tapes. This deck is MUCH better sounding than Revox A-77s and rivals modified tube section decks. The tape handling is not state of the art but the soft start circuit helps to gently move the tape. Careful alignment of the takeup reel is required for silent operation. The Tandberg hubs and 10 1/2" Tandberg reels are included, as is the power cord. Buyer pays shipping. It will be expensive. Please ignore the eBay shipping estimator. It can't handle multiple boxes of tapes for shipping. The deck will be double boxed with 2" construction foam and proper packing of the face to assure safe arrival. International buyers pay all duties and fees. If you think that the asking price is too high, do some research, perhaps you might find a better deal, The tapes can go US Media mail and fit in two heavy boxes. 6 10 1/2 " reels of Maxell, Ampex, etc. - see the pictures. 130 reel tapes, almost all 7" reels, most in boxes. All have been at least partially played on this machine. A handful of prerecorded tapes will also be included.
