PIONEER SX-535 STEREO RECEIVER VERY CLEAN RESTORED RECAPPED UPGRADED - $550 - (Otis, MA)

This is a very clean never repaired SX-535. The bulbs have all been replaced and controls cleaned with Caig Progold. All the important electrolytic capacitors have replaced with equal or better value and type. Most of the 60 replaced capacitors are shown. The main caps have been upgraded from 4700uf to 9600uf. The sub supplies have been similarly increased. All supplies have been heavily bypassed with polypropylene caps. The ceramic and tantalum capacitors in the signal path have been changed to polypropylene. The improvement in clarity and depth defies description. Even though this is a twenty five watt per channel(at 4ohms) amplifier, it is very clean and solid and sounds much more powerful. The phono section is excellent. The FM sound quality is excellent. It has two tape inputs and one aux,phono and radio. The sound quality of this rebuilt and upgraded unit cannot be overstated.It is ready for years of enjoyment, a great entry into retro audio.
