VINTAGE SOLID BRASS GAMBEL'S QUAIL HANDLE FAUCET VALVE SPIGOT OUTDOOR WATER - $40 - (Show Low, AZ)
Very nice and unique used solid brass water faucet with a solid brass Gambel's Quail Handle. Note the distinctive top knot of feathers protruding from the head unique to the Gambel's quail. The faucet and quail are solid with no broken or cracked parts. Both faucet and quail are aged and weathered to a very nice turquoise color, that could not be artificially duplicated. There is an arrow shaped design on the body of the faucet, and there is "ABP" and "USA" stamped on the flat wrench surface near the inlet. The faucet opens and closes smoothly and pressure seals in the open and closed position as designed. The overall faucet is approximately 6 1/2" tall and weighs 2 lbs 3 oz. The quail is approximately 5" wide by 3 1/2" tall. This is a fantastic vintage faucet with great patina for display or for immediate use if so inclined. Ships USPS to US addresses.
