You are bidding on a ANTIQUE Late 19th Century (1870-1900) EMBROIDERY PAPER PUNCH with GERMAN text. Der Herr ist mein hirte mir wird nichts mängeln. In English: "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Psalm 23. In the center of the print is a white embossed paper crucifix with fern frond leaves and white paper flowers around it. The frame is a wood frame with plaster embellishments on it that have been painted gold. The plaster has many nicks and signs of wear (please see photos). The backing on the frame is appears to be the original cardboard backing. It is in good condition and measures 12 inches wide by 16 inches tall.There are some fragments of the leaves inside of the print. I got this from a church white elephant sale at St. Boniface Parish in Sioux City, Iowa I am not an antique dealer, and in an effort to make my items a real bargain I generally leave cleaning and sometimes repair to the final collector.
