Antique Civil War Union Soldier Framed Original Watercolor - $700 - (Blaine, WA)

This came from a San Fransisco estate, wonderful original civil war Watercolor featuring a posing union soldier in repose. This is not a print. No signature, the actual painting measures 8" by 10.5" and in the frame its 10.5 by 12.5 inches. Frame is period walnut. And the glass is UV protective.  It was framed by the family of the soldier, Stephen Hathaway in 1966. The antique shop that acquired it is no longer in business. I've shown this to several civil war collectors and it appears to be original. It's a wonderful addition to any civil war collection. Will be shipped fully insured. See photos.
