Exemplary French Art Deco Vase signed Schneider Ca.1928 - $650 - (Winchester, VA)

This spectacular tall art deco vase by Charles Schneider exhibits the essence of the art deco movement, with its simple yet elegant style, attractive silhouette, and striking decoration. This oval vase in stunningly rare blue is resting on a thick, flat, applied amethyst base. A narrow band of cased glass is at the bottom and top of the vase, the rest of the body is decorated with stylized leaves, stems, and blossoms. 12 ½” tall, 4 ½” at widest point, opening 1 ¾”, base diameter 4”.
