An original watercolor painting by Gertrude Freyman. Freyman was born in Chicago in 1901 and spent most of her life in the Kansas City area. This watercolor measures about 13-1/2" by 17-1/2", and the frame measures about 21" by 25". Painting depicts a group of men playing cards in a tavern. Signed in the lower right corner. Painting is in good condition. There is some dirt and spotting on the linen strip around the frame, as well as a small stain in the lower left. The pictures show the condition of the item.
