Abba Colburn Fernald (1907-1984) Artist Sighed Original Oil on Canvas Beautiful! - $500 - (Somers, CT)

This is a beautiful still life by Connecticut artist Abba Colburn Fernald. Abba was a Connecticit resident, but was born in Maine. She was a descendant of the original 1636 settlers at Kittery, ME. In addition to her work as painter, she was a noted author. She published works on her family history specifically and on Maine, in general. Her work was displayed in the Connecticut Art Festival in the 1950's. This painting is on a 16" x 20" canvas and is framed to an overall size of 20" x 24". Both the painting and the frame are in excellent original condition. A nice addition to any collection!
