Offered is this fine oil painting on board by Sedona, Arizona, artist Gene K. Garrison (1924- ). The artist has a keen sense of color, balance and scale. Featured in the foreground is a desert landscape including a saguaro cactus and an ocotillo plant. In the background is an adobe wall and a large adobe structure underneath a beautiful blue sky with white clouds. The impasto brush-work is well suited for both the subject matter and the board surface used. There is no frame. The painting is signed lower right, is 30 x 24 inches and it is in excellent condition.
