Stunning Underground Railroad Quilt--handmade/hand quilted-Bright Colors 80x67 - $140 - (Mount Carmel, IL)

Beautiful handmade, hand quilted Underground Railroad quilt. Bright colors. This was a gorgeous quilt, but previous owner evidently used this quilt as a drop cloth while using wood stain. There are splatters and spots of the wood stain on the quilt--not all over it but in areas. Why would they do that?? Otherwise, quilt is in good condition--no holes or open seams noticed. Backing has a few spots and one of the turquoise fabrics lightly bled through to the back. Measures 80" x 67" pictured on a queen size bed. Has been freshly laundered and line dried. Quilt is a firm and solid quilt--meaning it's not light and fluffy. Some broken batting. Would have been one fabulous quilt--I still like it :) THANKS FOR LOOKING!
