Antique Gunn Barrister Lawyer Bookcase - $2,200 - (Waynesboro, PA)
For Sale: Antique Gunn Barrister Lawyer Bookcase Bookcase is Quarter Sawn Oak. I believe the shelves are Mahogany but I am not sure. It is structurally Solid with no damage. All door windows are Original Leaded Glass. Top door has no glass damage. Middle door (photo # 6) has 2 cracks inside the diamond and 2 cracks about 2'' above that area. Bottom door (photo # 7) has a crack inside of the diamond and a 4'' scratch about 3'' above the crack. The back of the bookcase is solid with no damage. This Bookcase was made between 1895 and 1905. There are not many of these bookcases left with all original glass and all loaded with lead. This Bookcase is in Museum Quality Condition and shows really well as you can see in my photos.
