Restored Seeburg 200LU3 library unit selectomatic200 jukebox mechanism - $1,595 - (Arvada, CO)
I have Fully functionally Restored this 1950's Seeburg Library Unit 200LU3. Original cabinet It has been completely disassembled, parts replaced, all degreased/cleaned, Re-lubricated, reassembled and tested - works perfectly and sounds great. It as a Shure m-7 stereo cartridge to track stereo 45s the ONLY way to get state of the art sound.I have the original mono "REDHEAD" to include if asked..but those are terrible..* It plays 100 45 RPM records, and each are selectable via a flip lever below each record. It can Play the Left side only w the SHURE M-7 mod.. just turn the record around to play the B side. * You see..the original Seeburg arm-cartridge had a design flaw, the need for two needles, one on the left of the arm and one on the right. This compromised performance, and the non standardized cartridge, commonly called the "REDHEAD" has poor tracking ability and no ability to track STEREO records at all, and the replacement needles are extremely hard to come by. a normal one needle cartridge is the answer..which is installed on this unit for sale today...This has the colored lighted #'s, as you can see in one of the pictures. For those not familiar, the unit has a Pre-Amp, so all you need to do is plug it into any Audio Receiver input to get great sound on your existing Audio system. It is a Mono Pre-Amp, but just plugs into both ports of a Stereo Input. SEE PICS OF DIS-ASSEMBLED----- MECH. separate from the CABINET
