Thank you. .................................................................................................................................... 1953 Gibson LG-1 I've owned this since the 80s. I used to go over to my friends house and we'd sit around and play music. I'd always say "hey Dave, if you ever sell that guitar, let me know." Well, several years later, out of the blue (I'd not heard from him or seen him for years), he calls and said "hey Ricardomagnificent (ok, not my real name), you know that old Gibson we used to play? You still want it?" YES! So I've had it ever since. The only work I've had done to it is have a piezo under-bridge pickup installed by Gary Brawer in SF. Having the amplified option is quite handy. So now it sports a 1/4" jack where the rear pin used to be. I've also installed a front strap button, so you can play it standing up. I also - years ago - jettisoned the falling-apart chipboard case it used to rattle around in, and got it a nice hard case. Overall (as you will see), it's in good shape.
