Vintage 1970's Alvarez 5014 Acoustic Guitar! Made in Japan! - $250 - (Harvest, AL)
Up for sale is this vintage 1970's Alvarez 514 acoustic guitar. This original Japanese-built instrument is a real joy to kick back with! This guitar shows some minor wear, including some nicks and dings that would be expected from a vintage instrument. There are no cracks or structural issues at all. I threw a quick tweaking on the=is one when it came in and it plays nicely with comfortable, low action. It could use a fresh set of strings, a cleaning of the fretboard, and one or two of the nut slots are a bit low leading to a few buzzy open notes (the D string is the worst and it's not very bad). Overall, a quick fix that we will leave to the new owner so that they can have it set up to their exact playing preferences.
