56"t Vintage Wood Ladder Transformed Into Shelving - Rustic Display - 30 Colors - $130 - (Mount Sterling, IL)
Description Use this antique rustic ladder shelving in your home to organize clutter or display some of your favorite collectibles. We are always finding new ways to recycle old items and there are so may ways to use the discarded wooden ladder. This is shelf unit is intended to be placed against the wall. The front of each shelf is the original step. We have added wood to complete the shelf using new wood and have made this unit level to store your things. (Since we are starting with and mainly using a vintage item we are getting as close to level as possible. Some variances will occur.) This ladder will still fold for shipping and storage. The added wood shelves just lift out. If you want the shelves to rest permanently you can simply run a line of glue on the bottom to secure the shelf to the ladder. This 5 step shelf is 56" tall with the top shelf at 13"w x 5.5". The bottom width is 19" with a back to front spread at 20". The open area between the shelves was 11" on this ladder but I noticed that other ladders that we have it is only 10.5". Note that since these will be made from old ladders the sizes could vary an inch or so. We can build you taller or shorter shelving using different ladders. Notice the last picture shows a couple taller ladders that we can build shelving with. Of course the price and shipping will need to be adjusted for taller shelf units.The colors shown in the FLOWER SAMPLE will all be a thin coat of paint with some wood showing though for a Rustic - Vintage look. The Rustoleum Colors are all Satin finishes. These will be full coverage but the rustic ladder will still be evident. This ladder is painted in a Rustoleum Warm Caramel. I am sure you can use our shelving out in a room also but do think about weight distribution. We have changed the angle of the back section so keep that in mind.
