800x600 A Very Rare/Fine Korean Koryo Celadon Open Work/Incised Incense Burner-12th C.: Korea, Koryo Period, 12th-13th Century, This formed incense burner depicted from Chinese Han bronze burner, which is set on short raised three pedestal foot legs with spur marks, two rings formed as a handles attached on shoulders. It is delicately incised with scrolling flowering lotus and leaves on the burner and a open carved lotus flowering buds and its scrolls on its cover, and it is covered with a thick, rich gray celadon glaze. It has been accidentally attached both together its lid and burner when it firing. It is in very good condition except one small foot glaze chipped (see photo).
