Vintage Heavy Desk Ink Stand Slate & Faux Marble base and Slate book look. Overall Approx size is 9 1/2" by 9 1/2" by 3 1/4" high  the book looking area alone is 5" by 7" by 1 3/4" weight is approx 17 lbs., really neat PA Estate find. Very Cool / Very Heavy /Only light wear. Most likely from the Slate Belt of PA, Mfg's of the day, Maybe an Executive had this on his desk back in the day... Very Good Shape, with some paint wear and missing what I believe would have been a top square inkwell, see photos..... *WILL BE SHIPPED DOUBLE BOXED WITH EXTREME CARE, FULLY INSURED & SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
