Offered for your personal collection is this lovely antique majolica asparagus plate. Marked on the back with the impressed numbers 233, my reference book says this was made by the Luneville factory in the east of France. It was made before 1891. It features a large artichoke with green leaves and six asparagus stalks. It measures 9.5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It has a small spot of light staining and overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected with antique majolica. This will be beautiful in any room of your home!
