This is a VERY NICE Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by countless jazz greats the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $15000. This saxophone is in excellent condition but has clearly been played. This horn has the original lacqer at maybe 70% with honest playing wear (see pics). There are a couple of minor dents but nothing major and no signs of serious damage. Pads and action are very good and this horn plays very well as is.
