1967 Martin 00-28C Guitar (Steel String) - $5,100 - (Plano, TX)

For sale is my 1967 Martin 00-28C (Converted to steel string guitar). This guitar has some of the most beautiful Brazilian rosewood. It was converted to steel around 2004 by a luthier in Washington State. Name is written on the underside of the top. He removed the top and it came off so clean he reused it.(this is very unusual way to do it and not his original plan, he told me). The bracing and bridge he bought from Martin and changed them out. The neck is the original neck and straight as an arrow. The tuners are aftermarket, not sure of the brand but they have that simplistic look and work great. The top has shadows where the nylon string bridge was. There is some finish crazing on this guitar. It is 50 years old so it does have a few dings and dents but overall is in excellent shape. Any questions just ask. It is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar. It has a very loud voice for a 00. It is easily at home fingerstyle as well as with a pick. If I didn't have a guitar inbound I would not ever consider selling this one. Sale is for US lower 48 only due to the Brazilian Rosewood CITES restrictions. Shipping is a flat $100 to the lower 48.
