Vintage 1972 Fender Deluxe Reverb Silverface Amplifier! Easy Old Amp Project! - $1,000 - (Harvest, AL)

Up for sale is this vintage 1972 Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier project. This amp is being sold "AS IS" and "AS FOUND", so please read the entire description and see all of the photos. Cosmetically, the amp is in very good condition. It shows some light wear, including a few scuffs and very small tears in the tolex around the corners and a few small snags in the grill cloth. There are no major cosmetic issues at all and no structural issues with the cabinet. The hardware is all very clean and presents nice, showing only light pitting in a few spots. The amplifier powers on and both channels work. There is a loud hiss in the background. The reverb works, but seems to be a bit weak. The vibrato does not work at all. The amp has been serviced and loaded with Orange Drops at some point and will need to be serviced again at the very least. Other than that, a missing upper back panel, and the AC cord, the amp looks to be all original (all of the transformers, hardware, speaker, etc). Overall, a very nice example of an early 1970's Deluxe Reverb that needs a little love. This one should make a very fun project for someone.
