Set Of 4 Coin Silver 6" Teaspoons-Palmer & Bachelder-Boston-1850s-Gwinnett? Mono - $89 - (Washington, GA)

Offered is this set of four antique coin silver teaspoons, made by Palmer & Bachelder of Boston, Massachusetts, a company active during the 1850s and 1860s. Each spoon measures about 6" long and the four spoons have a total weight of 62 grams, so contain 55.8 grams of pure silver (about 1.79 troy oz.). Each spoon has a monogram of two initials and a last name. I am not sure what the script says: it may be "S. B. Swett", or maybe "G. B. Gwett"? (I have seen "Gwett" used as an abbreviation for "Gwinnett" and there is a period after the last letter of the last name.) Overall, the spoons are in good to very good condition, with minor dings and light marks. One does have a slight bend in the handle (see last photo).
