Antique Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Silver Footed Ornate Embossed Holder Numbered - $50 - (Dearborn, MO)

For your consideration is an antique quadruple plate silver footed holder. Its original purpose is unknown. However, this ornate item features embossed fruit that appears to be apples. It measures just under 9-3/4" in length and approximately 7-1/2" in width. It stands 3-1/2" tall at its tallest point. It was manufactured by Pairpoint Mfr. Co. in New Bedford, Massachusetts between the years of 1880 to 1938. It is numbered 1249. There are blemishes and marks as noted in most visibly in the last three photos. The item will remain in its current tarnished condition, as some collectors desire the patina and others prefer to polish the metal to their own standards. No returns.
