Antique English Hallmarked Sterling Silver Box, 5" long, 2" wide, 1 1/2" high. This Art Nouveau, Birmingham box dated 1900 is in outstanding shape. Hinge is nice and solid no weakness, lid stays put where you place it. Created by Mathew John Jessop with Anchor and Lion passant on the inside of the boxes lid. Has the letter date "A". Interior is Gilded Gold, a sign of value and prestige back in the day. Estimated Value $250.00
