Rare Silver 800 BILLODES(ZENITH) K. SERKISOFF & Co CONSTANTINOPLE pocket watch. The body of the watch is made of solid 800 silver in England for export and use in the Ottoman Empire in the period of 1850-1880. It is interesting that the mechanism is made in Switzerland and it was ordered to be made in the famous Zenith company by British merchants. The inner back cover is made of solid metal with silver-plate. The watch has an ornate and beautiful porcelain face. The top is glass. The pocket watch work, but we can not guarantee that it keeps the accurate time. Has the original key (which unfortunately was broken and repaired a long time ago) is used for winding the clock and setting the time. The two buttons on top work. The watch has some wear and small defects but as a whole it is in good condition. It is suitable for adding to your collection or for giving as a gift.
