Vintage leather/metal book bank - Mutual Life of Canada - Waterloo Ontario - $11 - (Lyons, IL)

Vintage Leather covered metal book bank. I do not have key. The cover is a deep red and it reads Mutual Life of Canada Waterloo, Ontario. This also has a date on the cover. The book measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/8" x 1". There is on side with a slot that reads "A Dime a day keeps it up to date." Assuming that means if you put a dime in the slot it would move forward in the days. I was unable to push a dime through easily. Perhaps it just needs to be greased? The long end of the book has a round hole and a slot. The slot reads "for various coins" the circle reads "Paper Money" The last side has the key hole to open. It is not currently locked. All edges are worn. I could not quite read what the book binding edge says. Please look at all photos as they are part of the description. Ask any questions prior to bidding. Item sold as is.
