Vintage Margot de Taxco Enamel Serpent Snake Sterling Silver Bracelet 5554 - $471 - (Truth Or Consequences, NM)
This is a lovely vintage sterling silver and enamel snake bracelet by Margot de Taxco. It is marked MARGOT DE TAXCO 5554 and it has an eagle mark of 16. HECHE EN MEXICO 925 and something else I cannot read is marked around the eagle mark. It weighs 58.3 grams and it is 6 3/4" long. It is 1 5/8" wide from the tip of the tail to the side of the head. The body is 5/8" at the widest part. 2 scales have partially missing enamel, 1 scale has half of top layer of enamel missing, someone filled in half of another scale with a brownish colored substance, also there is tarnish present - I took a number of pictures so you can see condition.
