Antique Indian Peace Pipe Tomhawk HBC Trade Head Twisted Ash Haft Plains 1800's - $780 - (Kingsport, TN)

For sale is an old original Hudson's Bay Company brass trade head Plains Indian peace pipe tomahawk. Its in really good shape for its age. The brass head has a really nice patina and a small HBC in rectangle cartouche. The weeping heart that is cut into the head is a symbol used for centuries by native americans. The haft is ash wood and is twisted and looks very cool. The bowl has been applied to the head of the tomahawk. Good surface patina on all areas. The haft is about 26 inches long and the head is 10 inches long. A very fair price for this Indian weapon!
