MIDON Christmas Tiles, Complete set 1960-1987 - $1,500 - (Omaha, NE)

This is a complete set and you can't find them all together anywhere. They are the 60's Othmer Christmas Worlds Fair tiles . These were personal gifts bestowed at the holidays from world renowned professor, inventor, and philanthropist Donald Othmer and his wife Mildred. The tiles represented their travels and were given as gifts to their friends and family. The tradition, started in 1960 and ran through 1987. Each tile has a hand written personal message on the back from Mid & Don. The whole set is in near perfect condition. They measure . 5" 7/8 " square x 3/8" deep. If you are looking for a rare collectible this is it.There are 28 in all.
