For your consideration is this ANTIQUE 1912 EDWIN LAMASURE PRINT #4403 GREEN AND GOLD. This beautiful print is in great shape for it's age. The frame measures 12-1/2" wide x 7-1/2" high and the sight measures 10" wide x 5" high. Edwin Lamasure, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of French and Scotch parentage. He became a noted, self taught, landscape artist, as well as painter of marine scenes, primarily using watercolors and working from a studio in Washington, DC. Much of his subject matter was in Virginia and Maryland, and he spent much of his time in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay region. In addition to painting, Lamasure also gave art lessons from his home studio. He died at age 49 in 1916.
